An African safari is a Magical Experience

We recently returned from a life-changing trip to Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar, and I'm so excited to share some of my favorite photos with you.

We spent our days exploring the savanna on safari, driving near Mount Kilimanjaro where we saw an incredible array of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, hippos, and so much more.

We got up at dawn to watch the amazing African sunrise as the air filled with the sounds of chattering monkeys and squawking birds. Then our safari jeep drove through the grassy savannah spotting huge herds of buffaloes, graceful antelopes, and cute little warthogs foraging for food.

At lunchtime, we stopped at a picnic spot with champagne drinks waiting for us and a full-service breakfast in the middle of the bush

Everywhere that we looked there were amazing animals in their natural habitat enjoying the day as we passed by.

The African people are the most loving and welcoming people that I have ever met

The colorful culture, delicious cuisine, and welcoming people in these African countries left me longing to return very soon. The whole experience has left me feeling refreshed and re-energized.

An African safari is a magical experience to see the incredible diversity of African wildlife in their natural habitats. The sounds, smells, and sights of the African bush will stay with us forever, along with the amazing people with their warm and open hearts.

After all of the experiences that we had, it was time for a completely different experience in the amazing African continent before we headed back home.

Our last stop after an amazing journey through Kenya and the Serengeti was to hop on a short plane ride to the beautiful Zanzibar for some relaxation.
